MONEY BACK GUARANTEE POLICY

This MDAmart's Money Back Guarantee is designed to ensure our Buyers receive the right item they purchased or their money back. It also covers the Returns and Refund Policy, including the situations, where an item doesn't arrive, is faulty or damaged, or doesn't match the listing description.

This policy outlines MDAmart's Returns and Refund conditions and procedures for our global customers to return purchased items and receive reimbursement or exchanges. It also covers the item return timeframe, item eligibility, return shipping responsibility, refund methods, and other aspects.

 

1.         Global Return Policy

    1. It can take up to 1-15 days for an item to reach us once you return it. Once the item is received at our DHL or DPD fulfilment centre, it takes 1-5 business days for the refund to be processed and the refund amount to show up in your bank account.
    2. Your return policy will require you to return the item at your own expense. Our global platform, mdamart.com, will partly or fully refund your money, including return postage costs on receipt of the item. If you return a defective, damaged or incorrect item, you'll be refunded the full postage cost, as well as your Import Fees Deposit, once your return is processed.

 

2.         Item Delivery with Services

    1. Returns or exchanges for items purchased from a Seller that provided a
    2. Delivery with Service (in-home unpacking, installation, assembly, etc.) have to be scheduled by the seller.
    3. During the scheduled return pick-up, the Seller shall uninstall or disassemble, and pick up the item.
    4. All Sellers participating in the Delivery with Services program are required to support scheduled return pickups or exchanges.
    5. If a Seller does not offer these methods, or is non-responsive to scheduling an appointment to return your items, you may contact the mdamart.com Home Services team or file an mdamart.com Guarantee claim.
    6. If during a Delivery with Services, item is damaged or there are missing parts through customer misuse, the customer may be charged a restocking fee based on the condition of the product.

 

3.         Fresh and Grocery Items

    1. Grocery items (including fresh items) and wines are not returnable, but may be refunded or replaced.
    2. Learn more about "Spilled or Damaged Fresh Items" for information on requesting a refund.

 

4.         Handmade Products

Products sold by Handmade Makers are subject to MDAmart Standard Guarantee policy. The exception to this guarantee are items that are purchased with optional customization options, other than size and colour. See Customized Products for additional details.

 

5.         Photos

Photos products, including Photo Books, albums, Cards, Prints, Wall Art, Gifts and Wedding, are not returnable but may be refunded or replaced.

 

6.         Refurbished Products

    1. Refurbished Products are backed by the mdamart's Refurbished Guarantee that is specifically provided on the product detail page. With this guarantee, you are eligible for a replacement or refund within Ninety (90) days from the effective date of receiving the product.
    2. Refurbished products can be returned within Ninety (90) days of receipt of shipment and qualify for free return shipping. If your return is not the result of a Seller's error or defect, Seller will not refund the original shipping fees.
    3. Refurbished products sold by third-party sellers follow the standard 30-day mdamart's Global Return Policy.

 

7.         Shipment from Warehouses or Fulfilment Centres

    1. In most cases, used or open box items purchased from MDAmart's Warehouses or Fullfillment Centres can be returned within Thirty (30) days from shipment date. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them.
    2. Certified Refurbished items sold by mdamart.com and shipped from mdamart.com's Warehouses or Fulfilment Centres can be returned within Ninety (90) days from the effective date of receipt of the products.

 

8.         Automotive Products

If you've purchased a defective automotive product, shipped from and sold by mdamart.com, that is covered by a published manufacturer warranty, mdamart.com honours the warranty. we will either replace the product or refund the money for the life of the published warranty.

 

9.         Baby Products

    1. Baby products can be returned within 90 days from the effective date of receipt of the product or shipment.
    2. Gifts purchased from a Baby Registry can be returned within 365 days from effective date of receipt of shipment.
    3. Breast pumps must be returned unused in their original condition with the factory seal and packaging intact.
    4. If your return is not a result of an mdamart.com's error or defect, no shipping fee will be refunded.

 

10.       Electronics and Semiconductors

    1. Electronics products such a new desktop, laptops, camera or tablets or other and semiconductors purchased from MDAmart that didn't start when they arrived in damaged condition, or is still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 30 days from the effective date of purchase.
    2. MDAmart may test computers that are returned because they didn't start when they arrived and impose a customer fee equasl to 15% of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product.
    3. Any returned desktop, laptop or tablet that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.
    4. New, used, and refurbished products purchased from Marketplace vendors (manufactuers) are subject to the returns policy of the individual vendor.

NOTE: Please delete completely saved information and data on an electronic device, such as laptop, camera, etc. before retuning it before returning it.

 

11.       Customised Products

Customized products include products that are configured, personalized, or inscribed; for example, engravings, stamps, monograms, embroidery, embossing, etching, carving, or printing. Customized products sold by third-party sellers fall under the MDAmart Standard Guarantee Policy. To file a claim for these items please note the following:

    1. Notification to the third-party seller within Ten (10) banking days of receipt of item for return.
    2. Due to personal configuration, inscription, or design on these products, the third-party seller is not required to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged or defective upon arrival, or materially different from what was ordered.
    3. If there is a misspelling or error in the configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by the third-party seller, you are protected per the MDACI Standard Guarantee Policy.
    4. All product packaging (such as boxes) and if applicable; certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item. Products missing all their applicable tags are not acceptable for return.

 

12.       Digital Products

    1. Unless otherwise specified, games, software downloads, and purchases from the Appstore, the MDAmart Digital Music store or the MDAmart Video store are not returnable after purchase.
    2. eBooks purchased from MDA BOOKS WORLD and MDAmart can be returned within Five (5) working days of purchase. Once a refund is issued, you can't have access to the book. To request a refund and return content, visit Manage Your Content and Devices, select the Actions button next to the title you'd like to return, and select Return for Refund. eBooks you receive as a gift are eligible for exchange for an MDAmart's Gift Card before acceptance.
    3. Subscriptions to titles in the Newsstand section of the MDA BOOKS WORLD Store (magazines, newspapers, and blogs) can be cancelled at any time by visiting Manage Your Content and Devices.
    4. Apps and In-App Products purchased from the MDAmart Appstore may be eligible for a refund within 90 days of purchase, depending on the circumstances of your order. To request a refund, visit Your Orders and select "Return for Refund" next to that order. If you do not see a "Return for Refund" button, you are not eligible for a refund for that order.
    5. Digital educational resources can be returned within Five (5) working days from the effective date of purchase.

 

13.       Fine Art

    1. Fine Art items with a value of up to €50 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method. Items with a value more than €500 must also be insured.
    2. All product packaging (boxes, etc.) and certificates of authenticity and appraisal must be returned with the item.
    3. Any Fine Art item returned without original documentation will be rejected. Any Fine Art items that have been damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery, won't be accepted for return.
    4. Before sending a Fine Art return, photograph the item for your records.

 

14.       Gift Cards

    1. Gift Cards are not returnable after purchase (except as required by law).

15.       Hazardous Materials

    1. Hazardous materials, including jammable liquids or gases are not returnable.
    2. Contact the manufacturer directly for service, warranty, return, and refund information.

  

16.       Jewellery and Watches

    1. Jewellery and watch items with a value of €35 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method.
    2. All product packaging (Boxes, Manuals, Warranty Cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.
    3. Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
    4. Items that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery won't be accepted for return.

 

17.       Life Plants and Insects

Fresh flowers, live indoor plants, or insects are not returnable to MDAmart, but may be refundable.

 

18.       Mattresses

    1. Mattresses in original packaging are returnable from your porch.
    2. Unboxed, expanded, and full-size mattresses are not returnable to MDAmart. If you're not satisfied with the quality of product, we will issue you a full refund within 30 days of receipt of shipment.
    3. Contact the manufacturer directly for product registration and warranty related information.

 

19.       Pet Foods

Pet food and similar products are not returnable to MDAmart but may be refundable.

 

20.       Prepaid Phone and Game Cards

Pay As You Go (or prepaid) phone cards and prepaid game cards (World of Warcraft, Xbox 360 Live, Wii Points, etc.) are not returnable to MDAmart.

 

21.      Software and Video Games

Software and video games can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Returned software or video games that are activated, used, or missing parts will incur up to a 100% restocking fee.

 

22.       Television

    1. Returns for televisions shipped without Enhanced Delivery should be in new and unopened condition.
    2. To return a television shipped with Enhanced Delivery, the item should be in like-new condition. When the carrier comes to pick up the television, they bring their own packaging materials.

 

23.       Wedding Registry Items

    1. Items purchased from MDAmart Wedding Registry as a gift can be returned within 180 days of delivery.
    2. Items purchased by the registry owner are subject to the standard 30-day MDAmart Return Policy.

NOTE: We're very proud of our high-quality products. If you don't love them, we're happy to give you a full refund within a period of 2 years (365 days) from effective date of receipt of the product.

 

24.       Shoes and Accessories

    1. You can return shoes (Boots, Trainers, Canvas, Heels, Brogues, Court Shoes and Slippers, etc.) and accessories (Boot Jacks, Colours and Dyes, Shoe Brushes, Shoe Care Kits, etc.) up to Thirty (30) days from the effective date of the item or product.
    2. Items from our Drop Collections are eligible for returns, but the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund due because Drop Collections are specifically made-on-demand for consumers (i.e. you) for a limited period of time.

What can I return?

You may return most new, unopened items sold on our Global Sales Platform, mdamart.com within within a period of Thirty (30)  days to Two (2) years from the effective date of delivery.

What items are eligible for a Free Returns option?

Practically, all the items sold or fulfilled by MDAmart are eligible for Free Returns. Some MDAmart Sales Agents (also known as third party sellers) that fulfill their own orders may provide Free Returns, depending on the warranty or guarantee of the Seller or the Vendor. Look for "Free Returns" and click badge to confirm item eligibility. For more information, please learn more about "Return Shipping cost."

How does Free Returns work?

Eligible items, weighing up to 25kg, have at least One (1) Free Return Option. You can return the item for free for any reason (in new, unopened and unused condition) for up to Thirty (30) days from the effective date of delivery.

How to request a return on my MDAmart?

    1. Find the item you want to return in the Shopping section of mdamart.com.
    2. Select "Return" this item from the menu on the right.
    3. Select "Reason for the Return" and enter a comment explaining why you are returning it.
    4. If you received the Items damaged, destroyed or defective, then make at least One (1) picture (maximum 10 images) of the defects or scratches, and-all to justify the reason you are returning the product. Please learn more about our Image, Video and Text Policy when uploading images or video.
    5. Select "Confirm Return".

How to return multiple items?

Generally, there are many ways of shopping. When shopping, you buy One (1) items, Set of Items or discounted products, etc, based on Price and Discounts, Product Reviews and Ratings, Shipping Costs and Delivery Time, Returns Policy, Website User Experience, Payment Options and many other key factors Buyers always consider.  This meaning the way you shop products also depends on you request a return of the items you purchased them.

    1. Sets of mixed items. Logically, it is not possible to just return One (1) Item from a set of Items you purchased. You must always return the entire set intact without demage or defect. For example, if you purchased a set of cutlery (nives, spoons and forks), you cannot return just the spoons or the nives or the forks.
    2. Multiple items of the same item. You can return some or all of the items you pruchased. It is not possible you return only one. For example, if you purchase Three (3) shirts from one listing, you can return One (1), but you won't be able to return the other Two (2) later.
    3. Combined purchases from the same seller. You can always return each item separately. For example, you purchased three different books from the same seller and paid for them at once. You must open a separate request for each book because they are from different listings.

What if I changed my mind and don't want the products anymore??

    1. Acceptance and full refund. You return the item and the seller will then refund you in full. This may or may not include the original shipping costs, depending on the seller's return policy. For information about who pays for Return Shipping Fees, see the seller's return policy. If the returned item has been opened, used, damaged, missing parts, or was damaged during return shipping because it was not properly packaged, some sellers may only refund a portion of your money, after taking into account the diminished value of the item.     2. Partial refund and letting you keep the item. This can be a good compromise if the seller doesn't accept returns but wants to offer a gesture of goodwill. For example, if you accidentally ordered the wrong item.
    3. Alternative item or exchange. Some sellers may offer to exchange the item for an alternative product or another item instead of a refund.
    4. Rejection. If you've changed your mind about the item, sellers may reject your return request if they stated in the listing that they don't accept returns, or if you missed the seller's deadline for initiating a return.
    5. Sending you a message. The seller may ask you for more detailed information about your return request.

What if the item did not match the listing, or I received it damaged or defective?

    1. Acceptance and full refund by Seller. in this case, as in the case of the aformentioned question it is always necessary you return the item in the same condition as you received it. Wihtin Three (3) working days after receiving the Item, the Seller will then refund you the full amount, including the original shipping costs. The seller will also cover the shipping costs for the return. If the returned item was used, damaged, missing parts, or was damaged during shipping when returned because it was not properly packaged, the seller may only refund a portion of the money, after taking into account the diminished value of the item.     2. Partial refund and letting you keep the item. This can be a good compromise if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. For example, you receive the item with slight scratches, but you do not mind keeping it.
    3. Alternative products or exchange. Some sellers may offer an alternative or different item instead of a refund.
    4. A message from Seller. The seller may ask you for more details about your return request.

Once the seller responds, we'll send you an email with details on how to proceed. You can check the status of your return request at any time.

What should I expect after returned Item is received by mdamart.com?

Once mdamar.com receives your return request by email (info@mdamart.com) or through the platform's Request Form, we will send you an email, requesting you to return your item. Please, make sure that the item shall be return by the date provided in this email to avoid any delays or issues with the refund process.

If you are responsible for purchasing a return label, be sure to use a tracking service and include the tracking number with your return request. If the total value of the returned item is €700 or more, it will need to be returned with a signature confirmation.

What is a Label-Free Return?

A Label-free Return refers to a system where customers can return items without needing to print or attach a shipping label. Instead, they receive a QR code or a unique identifier, which they present at a designated drop-off location. The retailer or their logistics partner then handles the labeling and shipping of the returned item. This streamlined process simplifies returns for both customers and businesses.

How does a Label-Free Return work?

All our shipments are handled by DHL or DPD worldwide. Here, you do not need to print a label or pack up your item. You just have to go to Your Orders and select the item you wish to return. Tell us why you want to return this item, then choose a drop-off location that supports label-free. MDAmart / DHL will send you a QR code; bring your code and item to the drop-off location, and you're done. Currently, this feature is only available for items sold and fulfilled by MDAmart.

    1. Initiate the return. The customer starts the return process through the retailer's website or app, selecting the "label-free" option.
    2. Receive the code. The retailer provides a unique QR code, either digitally (e.g., in an email or on the app) or sometimes via SMS.
    3. Drop off the item. The customer takes the item (and sometimes the original packaging) to a designated drop-off location, such as a specific store, post office, or other partner location.
    4. Retailer handles the rest. The retailer's staff or a partner will scan the QR code, print the shipping label, and manage the return shipment.
    5. Benefits of label-free returns. Convenience: Customers don't need a printer or packaging materials, making returns easier.
    6. Efficiency. Retailers can streamline the returns process and reduce the time spent on labeling.
    7. Sustainability. Reducing the need for printed labels can reduce paper waste.

What are the benefits of Label-Free Returns?

The key benefits of Label-Free Return are:

    1. It's a convenient system in which Customers don't need a printer or packaging materials, making returns easier.
    2. It's a highly efficiency system that helps Retailers can streamline the returns process and reduce the time spent on labelling.
    3. It's a very sustainable system because, it reduces the need for printed labels can reduce paper waste.

What is Drop Collection?

A drop collection, particularly in fashion and streetwear, refers to a limited-edition release of products, often with low quantities and a specific release time, designed to create urgency and exclusivity among consumers. This sales tactic is a marketing strategy that generates hype and demand for items that may not be restocked.

Why a Drop Collection cannot be returned?

Drop collections cannot returned because their are specifically made-on-demand for customers under the following key terms and conditions or key aspects:

    • Limited Supply or Quantity. Products are intentionally produced in small numbers, making them scarce and sought after.
    • Time-Limited Release. Drops are often available for a specific, short period, or at a precise time, increasing the pressure to purchase quickly.
    • Urgency and Exclusivity. The scarcity and limited availability create a sense of urgency and a feeling of exclusivity for buyers.
    • Marketing Strategy. Brands use drops to build hype, engage customers, foster community, and drive sales by creating desire for unique, covetable items.
    • Brand Loyalty. Drops can encourage customers to repeatedly engage with a brand, anticipating future releases and building brand affinity.

When will I get my refund?

Does MDAmart offer replacements and exchanges?

Yes, of course. Practically, all items sold on mdamart.com are eligible for replacement and exchange within a period of Thirty (30) days. You can create replacement and exchange orders by clicking "Return Items" from "Your Orders" of your "My MDAmart"  and following the instructions.

In the case you received a damaged or defective item, we'll send you a replacement of the exact item you purchased. Find more about MDAmart Replacements.   • This Code of Conduct and Ethics outlines specific, observable behaviours expected from MDAmart's Sales Agents (referred to as Third Party Sellers or Resellers), Sellers (Retailers, Distributors and Exporters) and Vendors (Manufacturers) of MDAmart around the world. It also provides the ethical framework of moral principles to guide decision-making and actions. For the purpose of this MDAmart Code of Conduct or Ethics, Sellers, Resellers and Vendors are hereinafter referred to as "MDAmart's Sellers" or simply "Sellers."
  • MDAmart Code of Conduct and Ethics centres on honesty, integrity, and prioritizing the client's best interests. This includes avoiding misrepresentation, maintaining confidentiality, and disclosing any potential conflicts of interest. MDAmart's Sellers should also strive for professional competence and treat all parties with respect and fairness. They all must respect and obey all the European Union (EU) and International laws relating to their activities including all the Policies and Regulations on selling products in the EU and around the world.
  • MDAmart has zero tolerance for noncompliant marketing behaviour. We endeavour to assuring that all our Sellers must act with the highest ethical standards in all of their business dealings. They are representing the MDAmart and its carrier partners. They are required to abide by this MDAmart Code of Conduct and Ethics. Those who violate standards in this Code will be subject to disciplinary action pursuant to the Company's disciplinary procedures.

This MDAmart's Money Back Guarantee is designed to ensure our Buyers receive the item they purchased or their money back. It also covers the Returns and Refund Policy, including the situations, where an item doesn't arrive, is faulty or damaged, or doesn't match the listing description.

 

Legal guarantee

    • Under EU rules, if the goods you buy turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised, the seller must repair or replace them at no cost. If this is impossible or the seller cannot do it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a full or partial refund. You always have the right to a minimum 2-year guarantee from the moment you received the goods. However, national rules in your country may give you extra protection.
    • The 2-year guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your goods.
    • If a defect becomes apparent within 1 year of delivery, you don't have to prove it existed at the time of delivery. It is assumed that it did unless the seller can prove otherwise. In some EU countries, this period of "reversed burden of proof" is 2 years. 

 

 

 

 Commercial guarantees

    • Sellers (Retailers, Distrubutors, Exporters and Manufacturers) might offer you an additional commercial guarantee (also known as a "warranty"). This can give you better protection but can never exclude or reduce your rights under the minimum 2-year guarantee. The conditions should be laid down clearly in the commercial guarantee statement. If they are less advantageous than any advertised conditions, the more advantageous ones apply.
    • Goods bought from private individuals are not covered by these rules.
